Mitokine Bioscience and Purdue Veterinary School have successfully enrolled 12 dogs with naturally-occurring diabetes.  These canine heros are participating in a study to test a new diabetes treatment.  Mitokine Scientists have shown that this treatment can stimulate new insulin producing cells to grow and in the setting of diabetes could reduce the need for insulin by injection.
