Tufts Medical Center Molecular Cardiology Research Institute                                                                                                                                              MCRI is devoted to the study of a broad range of cardiovascular sciences. The Institute is a world leader in molecular, cellular and translational research. The interdisciplinary Principal Investigators from Tufts University and Tufts Medical Center are internationally known for their outstanding contributions to cardiovascular science.

Tufts Medical Center Department of Surgery
Tufts Medical Center is a world-class academic medical center located in Boston. The Medical Center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine.

Tufts Medical Center GRASP Center
Tufts Medical Center’s Gastroenterology Research on Absorptive and Secretory Processes (GRASP) Center brings together scientists from throughout the Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine to conduct research on digestive diseases. The GRASP Center is one of 15 digestive diseases research centers in the US funded by the NIH.

Tufts University Neuroscience Department
The Department of Neuroscience coordinates neuroscience educational and research programs within the Sackler School of Biomedical Sciences and the Tufts University School of Medicine. Departmental faculty direct research programs in many different areas of cellular and molecular neuroscience with emphasis on synapse neurobiology and the use of neurogenetics approaches.

Tufts University Vice Provost Office-Industry Collaboration
The Office for Technology Licensing and Industry Collaboration (OTL&IC) is responsible for facilitating the transfer of Tufts technology for public use and benefit. OTL&IC evaluates, obtains proprietary protection for, and assists in the distribution of technology for research and commercial purposes. OTL&IC is responsible for transferring technology for commercial development by identifying potential markets and negotiating license agreements with industry partners, be they large or start-up companies.

DBA’s Incubator Without Walls series encourages for-profit business owners to operate their businesses from their own locations while participating in valuable business training.

Maine Small Business Development Center
Maine Small Business Development Centers (Maine SBDC) provide comprehensive business management assistance, training, resource and information services to Maine’s micro, small, and technology-based business communities. The focus of the Maine SBDC is to assist in the creation and maintenance of viable micro, small and technology-based businesses and the jobs these businesses provide.

The Kyle Family Foundation is a charitable family organization, donating in part to medical research.

Maine Patent Program
The Maine Patent Program is funded by the state legislature to support the commercialization and manufacturing of innovations in the State by providing education and assistance with the patent process of the United States Patent and Trademark Office to companies, inventors and entrepreneurs in the State of Maine.
